If no database is created or opened the buttons from the ribbon bar and menus are disabled and you can’t use them.

To create a new database is very simple. You can press CTRL+N from your keyboard or you can click the “New” button from the ribbon bar as in the image bellow.

After creating a new database file, the buttons and all menus are now enabled and you can start adding or importing bookmarks from your browser.
